The founder of PAIA Consulting is Carrie Johnson.

Carrie Johnson

Carrie has almost 15 years experience in the environmental field, and has an established track record with a range of clients. Carrie specialises in providing environmental strategy advice on sustainability reporting, managing environmental risks, raising staff awareness and implementing EMS.

Carrie is a judge of the ACCA Singapore Environmental & Sustainability Reporting Awards and is also a judge to the Singapore Environmental Achievement Awards. Carrie is also a part-time lecturer at the National University of Singapore on Environmental Management as part of the Environmental Management MSc.

Previous to establishing PAIA Consulting, Carrie worked for AEA Technology plc, initially as an Environmental Consultant and more recently as a Director of AEA Technology Thailand Ltd. Carrie has a degree in Geography, from Cambridge University and a 1st Class Masters in Environmental Management from Imperial College, London.

Carrie has been based in SE Asia for over 4 years.

Dr Marina Martin Curran - Corporate Social Responsibility

Dr Marina Martin Curran of Villardi Consulting has a PhD in economics from the University of Edinburgh. Her thesis focused on the relationship between corporate social responsibility and financial performance. Marina has worked on a number of CSR initiatives in the UK, USA and Singapore. She recently co-authored a survey of environmental reporting in Singapore for ACCA. She is on the overview committee of the UOB UNIFEM fund, a Socially Responsible Investment fund in Singapore. She has conducted training on CSR and reporting in Singapore and Malaysia. She is the author of numerous articles on CSR including one on reporting in ACCA Singapore’s Focus magazine.
